I haven’t spoken with Adella, but I am sure I will at some point today. Though Adella had this to say:
“Tera’s done three movies in three years. She doesn’t socialize with people in the business. Neither does Devon anymore. Other girls don’t like it. That’s not Tera and Devon’s fault. That’s Digital Playground’s marketing. If Serenity or anybody else has issues, then they have issues with me.”
Allow me to translate; ” Tera and Devon are considered by us to be too good to socialize with other people in porn, except when we need them to help us pimp Tera and Devon and DP on Tera’s little webcast”
Another comment from Adella:
“Tera has been sick as a dog – she’s feeling better today – getting ready to host tonight”
I personally witnessed this, when I was told by people at the bowling event on Saturday (Yes, Tera showed up late) that Tera was a bit less than pleasant, to put it kindly, I went to see for myself, I walked up and said hello, Tera was very short with me, she said “I am sick and I don’t feel well.”. And that and a comment about her wearing bowling shoes (she said she wasn’t about to) was the extent of our conversation.
OK y’all heres how it works. You are in porn, you spread your legs and fuck for a living, you aren’t anything special, you aren’t changing the world, you owe your entire existance to the people who spend their hard earned dollars on your products. The minute you think you are better than they are and you are anything less than grateful to them, you deserve to starve. Spin it anyway you want but the consumer pays your bills.
If you are sick and don’t feel well you don’t use that as a lame ass excuse, get up there and do your fucking job, Cori Love has done it, Felicia Fox has done it as have most girls in the biz and I was there with Cori and Felicia, and not one person ever knew that they sick or even feeling poorly, that’s called professionalism. Cori, Felicia, Cali Cox, Kiki D’Aire all showed up to every signing on time, they don’t need babysitters to get them there or to instruct them on how to behave or with whom they should socialize, they have brains and they know what and what not to do.
Finally if you distance yourself from your fellow performers to the point where you won’t even stay in the same hotel with them, don’t be surprised to find that they aren’t particularly fond of you. I admire Samantha Lewis and Adella but Tera and Devon are really nothing that special, I was here before either of them and I will be here long after they are gone, your job is to make good fuck flicks, part of that job is PR and Adella is unsurpassed at that but you better damn well recognize that these porn fans pay your bills.
