Peter, I have no beef with you so don’t take this personally.

1) If AIM or Sharon or ANYONE really cared, they would also test for Hepatitis B and C. It would be mandatory as the HIV testing is. Both sexually transmitted and can kill. Hepatitis kills more on a global scale than HIV/AIDS. Yet the LA professional industry does not even test for it?

2) Why don’t they test for herpes? No, it won’t kill you but it’s one of those “need to know” issues when you’re about to do a non-condom scene.

If you ask me, AIM and the industry has their head up their own ass, even if their hearts and heads have the best of intentions. To test for HIV but not for Hepatitis B and C is both irresponsible and reckless.

That is, if anyone really cared.

Well, Nina was correct after all…under the circumstances, I am happy that she brought this issue to light.

As for AIM, I am surprised that they are not identifying the infected performer, and the other performers that are known to have worked with the infected performer.

My understanding was that performers must sign a waiver that specifically permits AIM to announce their stage name publicly in order to protect the rest of the industry.

No bitch, I shoot and work EVERY DAY unlike alot of people here.

I heard a rumour and called the healthcare organization that took the tests and they denied it. Then, they called me back and told me it was an isolated incedent and still not what Nina Vain (Simon Sinister) reported as fact. Don’t call me wrong, I just double checked a rumour and asked everyone else to do the same. That doesn’t make me wrong, that makes me curious and investigative. AIM did call me and thank me for alerting them to the leak which was suppose to be kept quit for the performer’s sakes while they retested everyone to be sure. Double checking facts as a journalist and as a medical organization are common practice before releasing a statement. All I did was double check a rumour and insist that everone else do the same before reporting something as a FACT.

I have 0 beef with you, and respect your work highly, but after they lied to you comeon. Its a life and death issue for those that could be working with someone that was exposed right now. Not a few days. Nina didn’t name names, as she shouldn’t, but did notify everyone to the issue. Would they have commented to AVN if not for the leak? She had solid information and might of saved someone from getting hiv today.

As it stands, AIM is relying on the people exposed to voluntarily quarantine themselves (not to mention that the person infected may not have remembered or told AIM all of the people that they may have exposed).

I’m also disappointed that AIM said nothing whatsoever until they were forced to.

How many other cases have they covered up?

I checked your rumour and so did several others including LA Direct Models, Joe AMA, and anyone else with the balls to call them to confirm a story. Blame them, not me. I just reported the news, didn’t make it.

now look at the time line here….this is whats important.

1. AIM was covering this up they have decided that YOU as a performer do not have the right to know if you may be getting exposed

2. AIM lied about this at first, not just to Peter Romero, but to LA Direct and Joe AMA and others

3. Because of the GFY thread AIM finally came clean but will not release any of the performers names even though the guy who was directly exposed participated in a gangbang the next day, so the indirect exposures are now huge because who did all those people work with since saturday and so on…AIM cannot POSSIBLY have this “under control” and they KNOW IT.
