I spotted this the other day, and we at MikeSouth,.com would like to add our voices to the chorus of support for adult star Alex Grey, who on Thursday bravely addressed her years-long struggle with opiates on Twitter.
Being sober from opiates after years of addiction… I only have 22 days but I’m sooooo proud of myself.. It’s not easy yet. I don’t feel normal yet… but I know I can do this. I was barely 19 when I started shooting. If I knew then what I know now.. it would all be different.
Alex, 23, was in New York City when she made the revelation on Twitter.
The toll taken by drug addiction is most often very high, and this is certainly true in Alex’s case. Some time ago, her boyfriend fatally O.D.’d in the model house of John Stevens’ Matrix Models.
Although her drug use had been kind of an open secret in the world of X, it’s heartening to see that so many have come out to support the 5′ 3″ bombshell in her courageous struggle with opiates, rather than shame her.

I applaud Alex for getting sober and hope she can maintain her sobriety. Managing to do that on her own and continuing to work in this industry and doing so is phenomenal. Shooting up at age 19, that is a horror story in and of itself, that means she was probably in her early to mid teens when she got into opiates (probably heroin).
As for John Stevens, his “model house” (as of 2017 actually an apartment complex where he houses performers in several apartments — I think he owns the apartment complex) appeared to be slightly run down and very lightly supervised and his attitude about Kylie Page’s partying was essentially that he couldn’t do anything about it, at least if she worked with him her agent wouldn’t be providing the Xanax that she was abusing. Bailey Rain also said in her Holly Randall interview that John (likely inadvertently) had a cocaine dealer living in his apartment complex so that was available as well. Usually a drug dealer keeps a supply of several commonly abused drugs so since he had a cocaine dealer he probably had a heroin, meth, Xanax, etc. dealer as well.
M Harris, did she start shooting scenes or shooting dope at age 19? What’s with these white youth? They haven’t heard the stories of how dope destroyed a lot of minorities over time?
She said she was 19 when she started “shooting”. In the context of what was presented here, I think she meant she started shooting up at 19. I don’t know for sure but in the context of her Tweet I think that is what she meant.
I also wonder how much dope was onboard when she decided to ruin her porn career and tat her fucking neck. I am guessing about a gram of heroin. John (Matrix Models) had to have wanted to strangle her ass for that one! I do wish her well and hope that she can stay sober and find somewhere in this industry where she can work — maybe as a MUA or cameraperson but her performing days are pretty much over because of that neck tat.
I do hope all is well with Alex Grey. She is so amazing and I would love to see her in any production. She likes tats so what? She is stunning and sexy. She will have no problem getting bookings for shoots if that is what she wants. Maybe she will move on to being a personal trainer or work along those lines. Good luck to you Alex.
