Rob Black claims that the UAWA is going to provide free testing every month to performers. Currently the UAWA website says this will include HIV, gonorrhea, chlamydia, syphilis, and hepatitis.
We all know that nothing is free. California has very specific laws regarding laboratories doing free testing for any patient. The general rule is that no lab can charge a doctor or patient less for a test than the MediCal reimbursement rate. These laws are to prevent laboratories from offering inducements to doctors or clinics to get their business. A laboratory cannot say we will do your low income patient tests for free if you give us all of your insurance covered patients lab work.
A CLIA certified lab will be running these tests that Rob says will be free to the performer. But somebody, somewhere down the line will pay for these tests, again, nothing is free.
Is the UAWA going to raise the money to pay for the tests? OR, is Robs plan to have the taxpayers of Los Angeles pay for the tests?
Simple questions for Rob. These tests cannot be done without a doctors order. Who is going to be providing the lab orders (who is the doctor), what lab is going to run the tests, and who is going to pay the lab for the tests? Until Rob answers these questions I call bullshit, but something makes me think his plan is to have the taxpayers pick up the tab.

I think the most amazing thing to me is that industry people would believe that State and local leaders here in California would work with Rob Black. All it takes is for them to research him at all and realize he is a felon. Watch his live show for 10 mins and not one person in power would want thier political career tied to a nut ball.

rob will never get the support he needs because of the way he pesents himself. And no elected or state offficial will ever hook their horse to his cart when they see the video of him on his show, with a member of his ‘so called’ union, Katie Summers, naked and smoking weed with Rob, and sticking her ass in the camera. Not the way someone who wants to CHANGE the industry should be acting.
And just to remind everyone again, the UAWA is not a real union, and Rob may find himself in some trouble if he keeps saying it is, and tries to do things that real unions do. Thats the beautiful thing about the internet, just like porn, you cant hide what is already out there.
But dont get me wrong, I think the idea of what Rob is doing is great, but he just isnt the person that will make it successful. rob claims to have been having meetings with “powerful people” As soon as these people are identified, they will be shown who and what Rob Black really is, and it will be his own words and actions that lead to his failure.

Cpan, this is big time politics. The politician, AHF, and DIR will use Rob to get the information they need, and Rob will be a very willing accomplice. Then when they are finished with him they will cast him aside. Rob will rat out producers to OSHA and agents to DIR, and when those government entities get from Rob what they couldnt get in the past, they will be done with him.

Rob doesn’t have the power to start anything like that. People like Hall do. Rob is only doing what those in power tell him he can do. It isn’t like Rob would suggest something against the law and government and lawyers would give it the green light. It is like you assume he doesn’t get advice on what he can and can’t do. He’s working with the AHF. You think they want to see him fail? You think Weinstein is going to be like, “Rob called me a faggot. I’m going to keep my mouth shut and let him fail.” Of course not. Rob said earlier that if you aren’t with the UAWA then you will be illegal. That pretty much sums it up that the gov is backing him in some way. It isn’t like he is sitting in his Honeycomb Hideout smoking weed and playing video games. Well, he may be, but he’s doing other stuff as well.
The free testing is easy. The AHF is already letting gays and junkies get it and the taxpayers are fine with that. If it is not the tax payers paying then someone else is providing the funding. It could even be a non-profit. They’ve been known to do this kind of thing when the non-profit yields a profit of like 82 million a year. Christians may even be doing this. That means you can get tested for HIV while reading Jesus comics about how you are going to hell.
It isn’t magic. The fact that porn hasn’t been shut down very well may be. Rob’s just saying stuff at this point and hasn’t done anything that we can see. Wait until he does something. Then we can say if he is in violation of any laws. I have a feeling he won’t be because he’s already being told what is possible and what isn’t. He has more info than he is giving us.

Whats this I read about inducements TTS has been giving out free test as long as I’ve been in the business, every time they screw up my test, I get a few free ones. At least with Rob what you see is what you get and he’s trying to do something for all of us
