READ The Mustang Ranch’s Motion to Dismiss the Rebekah Charleston Anti-Brothel Lawsuit

The World Famous Mustang Ranch is the latest party to demand the dismissal of Charleston v. State of Nevada

As we reported previously, in April, the Nevada legislature filed a Motion to Dismiss Charleston v. State of Nevada, an idiotic, ideologically-motivated lawsuit challenging Nevada’s laws and ordinances permitting legalized prostitution in licensed brothels.

The state and its governor, Steve Sisolak, (both named alongside the Nevada legislature in the complaint) had previosuly filed a motion in the same U.S. District Court on April 3 that the case should be thrown out.

Back in March, The World Famous Mustang Ranch and its owner, Lance Gilman, intervened in the lawsuit and have filed their own Morion To Dismiss the case. That filing is reproduced in full, below.

Plaintiffs Rebekah Charleston, Angela Delgado-Williams, and Leah Albright-Byrd said they’re victims of sex trafficking that were ‘forced’ to travel to the state to engage in prostitution.

Backed by the same prohibitionists who lost spectacularly at the ballot box last year in their attempt to ban legal brothels, the women filed suit in United Stated District Court, claiming the Nevada laws permitting licensed brothels run afoul of the federal Mann Act, which criminalizes the interstate transport “of any woman or girl for prostitution, debauchery, or for any other immoral purpose.”

See our discussion of the Mann Act, and its ignominious origins, here.

Here’s The Mustang Ranch and Lance Gilman’s entire Motion to Dismiss this ridiculous and frivolous litigation:

  1. All you have to do is mention the words “sex trafficking” and the media is all over it like stink on shit. Its a new age catch all boogie man word like “serial killer”. Any kind of an arrest or lawsuit regarding sex will try and make it about sex trafficking. ask Robert Kraft.
