Twisted cop who ordered PPV porn while guarding dead boy’s body jailed for a year

Avi Maharaj, 44, a police officer who downloaded pay-per-view ( PPV ) porn from a grieving dad’s TV account has been sentenced to 12 months in jail after pleading guilty to fraud.

The dirty cop was at a home in south South London in 2018 following the death of Mr. Graham Miller’s son Harry who hanged himself, when he purchased content on porn channels using the account of the property owner.

The owner had left the property, with Maharaj staying behind to wait for an undertaker.

It was proved that Maharaj was the only person at the property when the PPV purchases, coming to £25.96, were made.

At first the grieving father thought his son had perhaps been watching the videos before his death.

Gregor McKinlay, prosecuting, said: “At 10.38 the defendant was left alone at the address. By This time all the members of the emergency services attending, and the Miller family, had left the house.

“On February 26, 2018, Graham Miller, Harry Miller’s father, received his usual monthly bill from the cable television provider for Littleton Street. This was Virgin Media. He noticed that the bill was higher than it ought to have been and made enquiries with Virgin Media.

“They informed him that purchases of pornographic material had been made on February 11, 2018, through the family set-top box located in the sitting room.

“Mr. Miller was concerned that these purchases had been made by his son Harry and may have therefore been connected to his death. He reported them to police.”

Evidence was also found that Avi may have falsified his attendance log to cover his tracks.

He pleaded guilty to fraud and was today jailed for a year.

  1. I look forward to hearing Dr. Matthew Harris’ depraved, violent prison fantasy involving the perpetrator.

  2. 12 months seems pretty steep for what he did. There are folks that did way worse that don’t get a year in jail. Guess it was to set an example for other cops.

  3. Hey those NYPD detectives served no jail time for raping a girl they had handcuffed in their custody, so this does seem steep.

  4. Ok, BevMo. The guy watched some PPV movies, he didn’t kill or rape anyone. Put him on probation and fire him from his job since he stole the movies on duty. You, on the other hand, need to be sent to Jackson State Prison here in Michigan and get fucked up the ass by bubbas nightly for the next 25 years for being a complete asshole. I don’t know how anyone can tolerate your drunk, worthless ass on her sets!
