Thinking of using Fansly or NSFW.app? #BEWARE ** Updated

Recently an “OnlyFans Coach” who goes by the name of Bambi suggested to her clients, who she was charging $2,000 mind you, that they all switch to Fansly, an OnlyFans clone.

Here is Bambi telling you that she’ll help you for $2,000, so you can see I’m not just making this up.

Now here is Bambi in her coaching room which as you can see she’s conned 178 people into this $2,000 fee, and she’s giving them her fansly referral link.

So when they sign up she also gets paid.

I’m okay with people using others’ referral links but at the very least DO YOUR RESEARCH before you refer girls over to a company.

Myself and others who have been in the industry for years warned this so-called “expert” that this was a bad idea, for a variety of reasons.

First and foremost they were warned that early users on the platform had issues getting paid.

The next issue was that the site did not have a feature built in to allow you to provide valid 2257 documents as well as model releases for the content you are posting.

This is another red flag.

This is a US-based company and caters to US content creators and therefore are subject to US laws. Simply put the law says that all people who do porn must be over 18. You can’t have children in your videos. You can’t post photos of children on a porn website.

So what does Fansly say about this?

Yes, you read their TOS correctly.

And this mind you is the company that Bambi and her little friends are suggesting you switch to.

Forget the fact that their website has been down three times in the last three days.

Let’s just focus on their own TOS.

Now it’s obvious they didn’t hire a lawyer to write their TOS because any lawyer who has any concept of adult content, would know better than to write that.

So I ask you, why would you risk YOUR money and your content with a company like that?

This is the problem you get when you use these sites that don’t have financial backing. Their software is buggy. Their web hosting is unstable. They can’t afford lawyers to face any potential troubles that might come their way and then that means if they get sued or the government comes after them, BAM! They are out of business overnight and you just lost everything, again.

Because if they can’t afford a lawyer to write their TOS, will they be able to afford to pay you?

I won’t even get into the allegations that they purchased their code off the shelf which means countless others have a copy of their source code which means their website is vulnerable to hackers. But hey let’s let this video speak for itself.

Next, let’s talk about a company called NSFW.app brought to you by PornRocket.

Does anything look familiar to you?

Let me show you this logo ….

Big companies like Coca-Cola, Pepsi, Nike, and the like don’t just trademark their company name. They also trademark their company logos.

In the case of Pornhub, there are 11 related trademarks that I could find. But the one in question is trademark registration # 5561669. This one in particular is the federally registered trademark for the Pornhub logo. They have another one about their logo #5530898. The point is this. Their logo like many other big named companies are trademarked.

You can’t go taking the Adidas logo and making a brand of clothing with your name on it using a logo similar to theirs like one dumb porn star did. Seriously. There is a porn star who actually did that!

But that’s another story for another day.

Today we are busy making fun of NSFW.app. These were the guys who thought it would be cool to model their company logo after the Pornhub one.

I brought this problem of a trademark violation to the companies attention.  They went on for hours insulting and berating me. Saying what do I know with my 18,000 Twitter followers. I’m a nobody.

Okay well, that may be the case but I’m still a nobody who knows not to steal people’s shit.  And I’m a nobody who knows what a trademark violation is.

And if this company isn’t smart enough to not violate someone’s federally registered trademark, then chances are they too don’t have a lawyer. And when they get sued, can they afford to take on the legal battle that will ensue and still afford to pay you at the same time?

And are you willing to take that risk?

Please stop listening to these coaches and marketing gurus. What experience and expertise do they actually have?

In the case of Bambi she claims she’s in the top 1% of OnlyFans but that isn’t because she has actual experience in using ONlyFans. It’s just she gets her coaching clients to all pay her via OnlyFans so that adds up over time. She’s not out there actually creating real adult content. She has no idea how the adult industry works and it’s clear she also has no idea how a lot of things work.

Please stop falling for these scam artists.

Please stop giving your money to these people.

If you need help or have questions go to people who have been in the industry for at least ten years. Reach out to other porn stars, girls you KNOW have been around long enough to know what’s up.

Please stop listening to these fake life coaches and fake marketing gurus.

They are trying to exploit your fear and anxiety with all that is going on with OnlyFans.

As far as alternatives go. I’m sending all my girls that I work with over to FanCentro and probably LoyalFans as a backup.

You do what you want. But make sure you do your research ON YOUR OWN – stop listening to random people who claim to be experts without actual REAL proven industry experience.

*** UPDATE

I have just learned that Bambi negotiated 85/15 split for her referrals to Fansly and is already getting priority treatment from fansly which is behind her motivation to promote it. She isn’t doing it to help her referrals find a good platform. She’s doing it because she is earning 15% of everything you earn.

Listen I’m perfectly fine with using someone’s referral link but make sure the person referring you is doing the right thing and doing their research. We have enough problems in our industry, we don’t need girls like Bambi’s Coaching making it worse for you.

Let me remind you what was on the Fansly TOS just two days ago.

  1. I would def not recommend Fancentro someone paid for the content then they have requested the money back after purchasing my videos & pics inc custom video more that 110 dollars !!!!!!!!!!

  2. Every company has issues with chargebacks including OnlyFans. It sucks I know but you can’t blame a platform when a “fan” commits fraud. It’s the nature of our business. Sucks balls I know, but something you have to understand will happen from time to time.
