But anyone can write that Anti-Wal Mart diatribe. It’s like malaprops, Comedy 101. So I put some THOUGHT into this and find last night’s NBC News story provided the real point of conflict.
Flager Productions was told they were part of the Wal Mart FAMILY. Yeah right. Look how we treat REAL blood family and you want to apply it to a relationship in business? It goes to intimacy, intimacy that’s used and abused, run from, that crushes people, that we screw our lives and lives of our children with. Look how much energy and time we waste chasing some definition of it? Look how much of our precious time here we spend unhappy because we defined it incorrectly.
“Yeah, she’s JUST like her Mom.” And Mom was raised by a certifiable wack job before anti psychotics.
So Wal Mart constantly told these people this and they banked on it. Mistake. I can guarantee there’s a review going on in Wal Mart to find the rest of the relationships that can turn like this did. Somewhere early in quarter #1 a manager at Wal Mart heard the following: “You mean you didn’t have a contract with these people? “ and “ I don’t CARE if it was one of Sam’s handshake deals, you idiot! “ Talk about Trojan Horses.
We are family when we have children, parents, when we love one another. When a corporation, or a job, or any other type of group tells you that you are family DO NOT BELIEVE IT.
You’re family as long as it suits their FINANCIAL NEED, not a moment longer.
