I heard today that an AVN salesperson resigned today, no big deal I figure but apparently a lesser site sees some big conspiracy, so I go straight to the top. Here is what Paul Fishbein had to say:

AIM Testing for Herpes….Inaccurate:

Now it escaped my attention until looking at this photo again recently but Tim Case showed why there should have been NO DOUBT that Case would rise to levels that even Skeeter couldn’t attain. I got a call yesterday, someone wanting to know if Evan Stone had really gotten shot. My gut instinct said to tell them no but I wanted to know what she was talking about. She said that over on a lesser site there was a story about it.

I read the story and my first thought was bullshit, if he had been shot 24 hours ago it would be all over the adult press. “Just a cheap attempt at P.R. is what i told her…remember this guys shilled for Rob Black, once a scumbag, always a scumbag.

I talked to my buddy over the weekend…he buys the stock for Atlanta’s largest adult video store.

MS: So Whats Hot!

SB: Shit the gonzo stuff flies out of here, gay stuff kicks ass…

MS: Be a little more specific, who does well who doesn’t? Forget the Gay Stuff Though…Not my Demographic Really

SB: Oh OK, We do really well with Jules Jordans stuff but it gets sold pretty quick and we can never get reorders, Black Widow, that GGG stuff we ordered 6 of each title we got 2 titles..thats it they were gone in a day, that’s our most requested line and everyone has us back ordered on it I don’t know what the fucking problem is there. Rodney [Moore] has a loyal following here, so do you. Red Light District titles do really well, so does Platinum X but with them you know what you will get, the titles kind of say it all. Anabolic moves too. Your buddies at Digital Playground do well, particularly with Jack’s Playground, we used to recommend the story stuff to couples but we now point them to Jack’s, that goes over really well with them, it’s fun and it isn’t insulting as far as bad acting and stuff.

MS: Who Else?

SB: Elegant Angel still does alright, Zero Tolerance does well lots of newer companies are holding their own, Smash, 3rd Degree some of those. Max still has a very loyal following, that guy is out there though. Peter North’s stuff moves too, so does the tranny stuff.

MS OK Who sucks?

SB: Oh lets see…shit Ed Powers, we can’t give that dirty debs shit away. Randy West too but he doesn’t release anything anymore I dont think. The feature movies, the story driven stuff does poorly for us, no matter whose it is, Vivid, Wicked, Whoever. Most of the JM productions stuff, I mean it has it’s loyal followers, most of them are scary though. American Bukkake does well from them. Jenna titles still rent real well by the way.

MS: Speaking of JM, does that stuff worry you in terms of getting busted?

SB: Yes it does, we wont stock anything by Kahn Tusion, we stay away from the Meatholes crap and all that, it isn’t worth the risk.
