I’ve been reading your story about Jessica Drake with a modicum of interest, trying for the life of me to figure out your stake in the matter. I don’t recall that you ever shot her for your company and whatever else might be said about the lady, I don’t think too many people worry about her age these days. The gist of the 2257 regulations that have been bandied about has been that those companies not keeping proper records in regards to shooting minors are the ones most in need of worrying. She’s only shot flicks for Wicked Pictures for years now and no amount of retroactive record checking will cover up poor record keeping on the part of the previous companies she shot for if she did anything wrong and they were too stupid to catch it.
Is this going to be this year’s attempt to grab the Sturman Award; “outing” a performer’s credentials and possibly putting her under federal scrutiny? I remember how the Atomic Punk incident went; an obscure forum posting with no interest in weeks getting tremendous attention after you “ran the story” about a list of performer’s real life names and dates of birth, allowing hundreds of people to gather the information because you didn’t handle the matter behind the scenes. Heck, I’m still waiting for the promised update you stated would be forthcoming a year ago on that one.
In any case, it strikes me as disingenous to run a “story” asking for information on her for weeks and then fussing that she won’t provide you with her personal information when you have a proven track record of throwing caution to the wind with people’s lives. If she used multiple aliases and the companies were so inept at keeping track of it, so be it. I wonder if you’re aware that federal grand juries aren’t obligated to let you “keep your sources a secret” and any REAL investigation into the matter by the feds could backfire on you.
Anyway, why do you think they would cooperate with you in the first place? Also, when did you apply for the role of Luke Ford Jr (or AVN Jr)? Just busting your balls buddy, Don lol
Ok first of all, and most importantly I have gone to great lengths NOT to out her credentials even though a modicum of web searching will find a few of her identities. Hell I don’t even know for sure which is her real name.
Second, my stake is that this is a news/gossip/editorial site and guess who decides what is news and what ain’t? If you guessed me, congratulations, you guessed correctly.
As for Atomic Punk, I did my job on that one and Jeffery Douglas initiated some sort of civil action and asked me to clam up on it so I did. I don’t know if it’s ongoing or if it has been settled but if it has been settled it’s like both parties agreed to keep their mouths shut about it.
As for The Sturman Award….Truth is I could care less, there are far more deserving people out there than me to receive this honor, besides after giving it to a two bit peice of shit like Rob Black how does it have any value now?
And as for my sources, you can bet that they will go with me to the grave. The feds might, under certain circumstances compell someone in the press to give up a source but this particular incidence doesn’t pass muster by a long shot. And who said Jessica did anything against the law anyway? It isn’t a crime to change your name UNLESS you do so for fraudulent purposes.
Now lets draw up a very real scenario. lets say that you have a porn comany and one of your directors shot Jessica Hatchling on more than one occasion. Now lets say that you get a 2257 audit and the feds come back and say Don you are under arrest for improper record keeping, we found that Jessica Hatchling has given you 3 different IDs under 3 different names. We ran checks and found out that all 3 are forged or altered IDs. While it isnt incumbent on you to be an expert on IDs it is very arguable that you, as cusrtodian of records should have known that something was amiss when you had three different names and IDs for the same person. Thats a pretty cut and dry 2257 violation. Naturally the story makes headlines on AVN and just as your asshole pucker factor is reaching its peak as they lead you away in handcuffs you get a call from me..And I say sorry Don, but I knew all about that and I could have warned ya, but hey, I didn’t figure I have a stake in it.
