Sofia Moon has died. She was best friends with Violet Rain, who herself died in March of 2019. In fact, Sofia was one of the last people besides her family that saw Violet Rain before her death.
Sofia Moon was with her family in Madison, Wisconsin at the time of her death. It is rather sad to see and hear about this becoming more frequent. The adult industry is no stranger to the constant horrific news of performers passing due to mental health and substance abuse.
Sofia’s publicist and friend James Bartholet wants to make it clear that her death was not a suicide, and she was not a victim of COVID19. He also asks that you please respect her family at this difficult time.
According to her agent (Nina Elle of Society 15), Sofia Moon died of complications from taking Percocet that may or may not have been prescribed, according to her agents. She was only 20 years old.
The adult industry trade association, The free speech coalition, has not done much for performers. They say they do, they say they will. Sadly, nothing has been done to educate performers.

Wow! Dead from a Percocet overdose. That is what happens when people fuck with opioid pills without a prescription from a physician. Percocets aren’t even that strong, I know that two of my prescribed morphine pills (I severely fucked up my back decades ago) within 6-8 hours of each other would kill those not tolerant to them. It is too bad people decide to fuck with these things without a prescription and many times even a medical condition that would make them advisable.
