but he left out one enemy in particular, The Free Speech Coalition is the biggest enemy that free speech and our industry have. The reason they are such a threat is because they do absolutely nothing under the guise of representing our industry. There aren’t 3 people in porn who can name anything the FSC has done to earn even a dollar of support in the last 4 years, but they keep coughing up anyway….hey it has a great name.
It also strikes me that porners of both the net variety and the video variety think that Democrats are friendly to our industry, this could not be more wrong. Democrats would take aim at us in a heartbeat if they saw one iota of political gain in doing so, and it would be like shooting fish in a barrel because we, as an industry are reactive not proactive.
This industry is in a position to influence our own destiny, we have never before been as accepted socially and as much a part of pop culture. So what is it we do to insure our survival? In a word, nothing.
