California Rep. Katie Hall has resigned her position from Congress this past Sunday. Her resignation is prompted by allegations of a sex scandal against her and her campaign following the release of a series of intimate images including ones of her and a campaign aide. The images were published by a group of conservative media outlets who had obtained them from her estranged husband.
Regardless or not if all the affair allegations against Hill are true or not or even if she consented to taking the photos, releasing them without her consent violates revenge porn laws in California which states that is is illegal to distribute sexual images without the subject’s consent.
Hill concluded her resignation speech by saying: “A man who brags about his sexual predation, who’s had dozens of women come forward to accuse them of sexual assault, who pushes policies that are uniquely harmful to women sits in the White House] We have an entire culture that has to change.”

What’s happened to journalism? She resigned because she was having affairs with her staffers which is a blatant violation of House ethics rules.
