Everyone Complains about the weather but no one does anything about it:

Tonight, my whole area is under a “winter storm warning” from the National Weather Service. The weathermen around here are predicting an “Ice Storm”. for those of you not in the know, we don’t get much snow here in Atlanta but sometimes it gets pretty cold and rains, then around dark the temperature drops to below freezing causing all the wet surfaces to freeze and the rain to turn to sleet. Now when this happens the indigenous flora ( The southern Pine Tree to be specific) cant handle the added weight and starts shedding limbs. These limbs crash through power lines, roof tops etc creating havoc.

Now factor in the that there are major traffic jams in Atlanta now in anticipation of the event, there are 4 or 5 major pileups, just the words snow, ice or sleet mentioned on the radio cause Georgia drivers to become bigger idiots than they normally are, if that’s even possible.

Grocery stores and convenience stores have already had a run on milk and bread and most are sold out and home depot is slap outta rock salt.

Now here is somethoing I don’t get…why bread and milk? Do these people make mush or gruel or something to celebrate the coming of winter? I mean I could understand a run on chicken noodle soup or even coffee but bread and milk?

Since the weathermen almost never get this shit right I don’t expect anything to happen, I think it’s all just a conspiracy to boost profits for the grocery stores, I think they are in cahoots and the weathermen get a nice Christmas bonus from these guys for seeing this shit.
