If you haven’t checked out http://www.cavr.com/pr2009.htm, then you should. It is an incredibly extensive database of Talent and Talent resumés. I found movies I didn’t even know I’d been in! 😀 Very cool!
The gentleman who runs the site bullet points the leading-up-to-this-moment process better than I can, and believe me, it is a strange and interesting story that won’t bore you. More than anything, though, it’s about the interview I conducted with Tanner about a difficult shoot that documented her inebriated and angry state, and how this gentleman enjoyed it’s sensitivity and decided to award Tanner, who was already a contestant for the prize. I would like to extend a “Thank you,” to our esteemed CAVR Master of Ceremonies, and to the lovely Miss Tanner Mayes, who, if she would so kindly contact me, I can help me get her her trophy, pictured at the link above. It’s a beautiful trophy – refined and dignified. Good taste, there!

I just spoke with Tanner and she is pretty excited. CAVR and her award win last week from AEBN for best new starlet puts Tanner in some pretty good company. I think this just makes the AVN race that much more exciting as there are some good new girls there including Kagney who was great in Not Married with Children XXX. Tanner and I talked and she was so sweet. She can’t wait to get the award. I will have to make sure I cal her regularly and just say hi. I like her.
