The bald-faced dishonesty of the woke mainstream media on full display

Yesterday, the BBC ran a news story with the following headline:

Blackpool woman accessed child abuse images in hospital bed

Here’s the tweet that promoted the story:

Can You Spot What's Wrong With This News Headline?

The story begins:

A woman who accessed her “vast” library of child sexual abuse images from her hospital bed has been jailed.

Julie Marshall used public wifi to look at some of her 80,000 images as she recovered from a heart attack in August 2017, Preston Crown Court heard.

The court heard police raided the 54-year-old’s home in Blackpool and seized two laptops, a phone and multiple CDs.

Marshall, who admitted three counts of making indecent images of children, was sentenced to nine months in prison.

What the BBC didn’t mention, however, is best displayed in the following photograph of Ms Marshall

That’s right, Ms. Marshall is a transwoman — something not once mentioned in the text of the BBC story.

The argument for not mentioning this fact, I suppose, would be that it would be transphobic to acknowledge reality.

But if it’s transphobic to not point out reality, is it not misogynistic to lay the blame for this hideous crime on a (biological) woman?

Call me crazy, but I think that in a world where we are currently debating matters relating to sex and gender — not to mention prison reform issues and whether or not male/male bodied sex offenders should be placed in women’s prisons after they announce they are transgender — details such as this matter. A lot.
