What’s a silly little thing like the law matter to someone like Trinity St. Clair?

Just as a leopard does not change his spots, nor does it seem Trinity St. Clair. Even though she is currently in the middle of a lawsuit with two different agents for illegally booking talent as an unlicensed agent, she still just keeps on, keeping on.

I know nothing Trinity St. Clair does should surprise us anymore, but really this one does. You would think after all the trouble she’s been in lately she would lay low. But no, not Trinity. Now she’s repping a high profile client, Uma Jolie.

Uma Jolie you might recall was one of AVN trophy girls last year.

Now here is the thing. Trinity St. Clair can’t legally book Uma Jolie or anyone jobs because she’s not a licensed talent agent. But what’s a silly little thing like the law matter to someone like Trinity St. Clair?

One main difference between a manager and agent is that an agent has to be bonded and licensed by the state and a manager does not.

This is why so many artists are managed by an uncle, mom, sister, brother or boyfriend. In porn, always the boyfriend, which is where we get the term “suitcase pimp“. But that’s another story for another day.

If you want to become a manager, just find a porn star willing to hire you and, congratulations, you’re a manager.

But it takes more to become an agent. A talent agent is a person or company who engages in the occupation of procuring, offering, promising, or attempting to procure employment or engagements for a porn star.

Turns out it is an actual criminal act to act as an agent when you aren’t licensed to do so. But I don’t think things like the law matter to someone like Trinity St. Clair as we have seen time and again.
