iWantClips faces multi-million dollar lawsuit

I think we can all agree that mainstream porn has changed forever. For the first time in the history of our industry, the female performers have realized they have the power.

This is not a slight against male performers, it’s just not the same for them. While some have done okay with their own platforms, I think it’s obvious they’ll never be able to match the achievement of the female performers.

That isn’t what this story is about so moving on, I want to talk about the issue of independence.

Female porn performers who do have a platform, who have made a name for themselves with traditional porn, have now learned they can take that following and make even more money with it through sites like OnlyFans, FanCentro, Clips4Sale, and ManyVids.

The amount of money some of these girls are making is insane. It’s not unheard of for an average looking girl to make $5,000 to $10,000 a month on her own and the bigger named girls are making $40,000 and more per month.

And yes there are a few at the top that are making even more than that, some of the very top girls are making as much as $150,000 a month. Yes, I said per month.

This is not to say that traditional porn production is going away. Companies like MindGeek, Vixen, and Gamma are still going strong and will continue to pump out professionally shot porn for years to come.

Only instead of working with the bigger named girls, who are making their own money, well … they might have to start working with fresh new, unknown talent because the girls who are busy making their own money are starting to question why they should work for anyone else at all.

But that brings me to the real reason for this story. Traditional porn, even with all its problems offers a sense of security that you don’t always get when working just for yourself.

For those who have worked hard to build their platform on sites like IWantClips, well, they now face uncertainty as a new lawsuit has come to light.

The lawsuit alleges the people running iWantClips are guilty of breach of fiduciary duty, embezzlement, corporate waste, and unjust enrichment.

Bratty Nikki (@bratty_nikki)  is one of the co-founders of IWantclips but now she’s facing a serious fight to keep control of her company and quite possibly, stay out of jail. If the charges levied against her and her husband in the civil case are found to be true and there is overwhelming evidence against them, there is nothing to stop the DA from pursuing a criminal case.

She calls herself a “financial domination legend”, but her investors say she’s a fraud.

Violet Doll (@VioletDoll) was one of the first people to speak publically about the ongoing lawsuit and for her concern, she was slapped with a cease and desist by the company.

Violet Doll Cease and Desist

She isn’t alone though in talking about the company on twitter. Others have tweeted their disgust with iWantClips, saying things like “Baits us with 75%, drops us to 60% then spends our earnings suing models. Nice.

Another girl had this to say, “nikkis a joke and a scam artist that’s how she started iwc she was t even a Domme she used her famous Domme friends to start the website then they all called her out for putting herself as the #1 earner using famous Dommes money to fake her #1 earned status ON HER OWN SITE.”

In January of this year, iWantClips was involved in a data breach scandal. In short, an employee emailed a zip file containing 1099’s for all the models who used their platform which included their legal names, addresses, and the last 4 digits of their social security number. This information got out and as per law, they had to notify everyone about the data breach.

IWantclips Data BreechNow let’s go back to the lawsuit, which Bratty Nikki calls “frivolous” and says it’s from a “rich loan shark”.

That in itself speaks volumes. That means she admits to borrowing money from an unsavory character.

The lawsuit is rather juicy. It says that the people running iWantClips, Bratty Nikki, and this other guy named Jude Hudson (apparently Bratty Nikki’s husband), loaned themselves hundreds of thousands of dollars in undocumented interest-free shareholder loans. They had the company pay for their extravagant personal residence and lifestyle,

They put their parents on the company payroll even though they didn’t work for the company nor perform any work for the company. They paid their parents hundreds of thousands of dollars directly and assigned them company stock without consideration.

Over a period of three years, they borrowed over $2.5 million from the investors, who are now suing them.

In June of 2019, Jude Hudson and his wife Bratty Nikki went back to the investor and tried to borrow another $100,000 because apparently the $2.5 million wasn’t enough. And then they gave themselves an additional $28,118 interest-free shareholder loan from the company.

But it didn’t stop there. In December they went back asking for another $150,000 loan, and this time they agreed they would stop looking the company in exchange for the money.

This is, mind you, after they had already taken more than $1.4 million from the company.

So when the investors came asking for their money back, the defendants threaten to sink the company, by not paying any of the content creators, the sales would “sink to zero”, and the company would be irreparably harmed.

This lawsuit was filed in April of 2020, with the California courts and it is in fact a matter of public record. This includes copies of the promissory notes they signed in regards to the loans and the threats to shut down the company or go on an extended 3-month vacation so that none of the content creators would get paid.

A temporary restraining order has been requested so that the defendants can’t do further damage to the company. The defendants have until July to answer the charges brought forth against them.

You can read the full document filed with the courts by clicking here.

I’m no legal expert but I can see a sinking ship when it’s in front of me. Might be time to start looking for a new platform because clearly the writing is on the wall with this one.

  1. Great article but don’t forget the felon past, time in prison and the charges against both BrattyNikki and Jude Hudson. Gun trafficking and now embezzlement. What a pair!
