Flash Brown New Court Hearing. Bail was Denied a new hearing date is set

Flash Brown had a pre-trial hearing today and his trial date is now set on August 7th. He was offered a deal of approximately three years with credit for time served, Flash Brown refused the offer. His lawyer once again requested a bail reduction or a release on his own recognizance which was denied again by the judge. Originally flash Brown was given bail which was violated as a re-arrested within three months occurred.

A quick recall — He was officially charged in March of 2019 on sever counts charges which he pled not guilty. It appears two counts of corporal injury to a spouse, one count of pimping and pandering, one count of revenge porn and three counts of contempt of court, for violations of a previous arrest for domestic violence from October of 2018, which included one count of inflicting corporal injury to a spouse, one count of assault with a deadly weapon, and one count of drawing a deadly weapon (other than a firearm) in a rude, angry or threatening manner.

  • On the 2 counts of corporal injury to a spouse, he faces up to 5 years each.
  • One the one count of pimping and pandering, he faces up to 6 years.
  • One the one count of revenge porn, he faces only six months in prison.
  • On the there counts of contempt of court for violations of a previous arrest for domestic violence, he faces up to six months in jail each.
  • Assault with a deadly weapon he faces up to 4 years.
  • Assault with a drawing a deadly weapon (other than a firearm) – he faces up to six months.
