AIM or AHF, The Choice Is Ultimately Going To Be Yours

I got a call today from a friend who pointed out that talent should be very wary now about faked tests. AIM created their database because people were faking tests, no reason to think they wouldn’t now.

Which brings us back to the condom thing.

As a Libertarian, I am and always have been condom optional, sometimes it’s her choice, sometimes it’s mine but I like the idea of having the choice.

Sometimes, we have to make harder choices though. This whole AIM/AHF thing isn’t a choice that we as an industry have, but we do have choices that will influence the outcome.

If producers really want to support AIM, they better start mandating condoms because if the status quo is maintained AIM will lose. Everyone who is saying AHF just wants to take over is right and the condom issue is nuke they are using to win. So it’s time for porn companies to take a long view instead of a short one. Anyone who tells you they support AIM but is not shooting with condoms is supporting AHF. If AIM is going to win condoms have to be mandated until such time as something else is worked out.

If you are talent, you have to worry about faked tests now, if you start insisting on condom use until this is all resolved you are helping AIM, if you don’t you are helping AHF.
