It appears so.

It has been reported sold many times, I have rarely believed it, this time I do.

I do because I know that Paul Fishbein has been ready to get out, and who could blame him, he had an amazing run.

According to the Nov issue publishers statement AVN is now owned by Vasilis Kailis

Not sure who this is, if it is a typo Vasilis Kailas is a 57 year old Greek actor. It could be a red herring but AVN has for sure been quietly for sale for some time.
