Peter Housley Come Get Your Scumbag Award

Hey South,

You know, in reading over your coverage of the Lawley/Exxxotica bedfellows thing (and I have to agree with a lot of it) I haven’t seen any mention of Peter Housley’s role in all of this. Sure, he’s CEO of Naughty Tweet, but he’s also the newly minted “social media guru” for ICM Registry.

But Housley’s “porn experience” doesn’t begin with Naughty Tweet. He was also the COO of HellHouse Media, which went under owing a lot of industry peeps money and before that, Housley was the Executive vice President at Vavoom Media Group out of Vegas, which also allegedly ripped off a ton of investors and performers, like Sunset Thomas.

Is it just me that is wondering if this guy just has piss poor luck in choosing employers, or if he is more culpable in the shell games and money grabs than he seems to want people to think he is? Granted, I’ve been taken once or twice by employers that are all BS (hell Petey and I BOTH got taken by one such liar) as has anybody in the Entertainment Industry as a whole. But this guy’s track record is rather dismal. I can’t decide if I should feel sorry for him or want to lead the lynch mob. LOL
