Syphilis is a very serious STD that can have as much as a 6 week incubation period. And while most productions in Europe are on a mandatory moratorium, some companies like Legal Porno continue to shoot, despite the fact that at least 2 of the performers found to be positive for syphilis were on their set.
There are at least 6 rumored cases now and possibly as many as 10. We are told 4 are females, 2 are males confirmed. However there are so many conflicting reports right now it’s really hard to say what hell is going on over there, especially since one major production company is still shooting.
All I can say for now is a smart person would avoid any sexual contact with any performer who has been in Europe in the last 3 months. They should avoid those who have been to Europe for at least 2 months after they return home.
Even if a person claims they didn’t shoot while in Europe, you still just don’t know who they had sex with. It’s not worth the risk, especially for syphilis.

Yes, people need to take care in whom they fuck. However, in America we use the Trep-Sure test for detecting syphilis. That pops a positive within ten days of exposure, not six weeks. Since we have a 14 day testing cycle the very most people have to exclude these performers is two cycles — 28 days. Even that is an over-abundance of caution, if the date on the test is 10 days or more after the person returned home that person should be fine to fuck. If you really need a buffer make it 14 days. With the test we use six weeks is ridiculous! Also, you take antibiotics to get rid of syphilis, it isn’t a lifelong illness if you treat it and the damage is minimal if it is caught quickly. There should be a moratorium in Europe and we should take care to minimize its spread here but six weeks of quarantine is way too long considering the testing cycle and the test used here in the States.
