We’re going to pass a health care plan written by a committee whose head says he doesn’t understand it,
passed by a Congress that hasn’t read it but exempts themselves from it,
signed by a president that also hasn’t read it, and who smokes,
with funding administered by a treasury chief who didn’t pay his taxes,
overseen by a surgeon general who is obese, and
financed by a country that’s nearly broke.
What else could possibly go wrong?

I hope you get paid to post right wing talking points. lol
ino not right or left Im Libertarian but you have to recognize the truth in this
Do I think we need health care reform..no I KNOW we need healthcare reform.
are we going to get anything meaningful out of the abomination that we call our legislature? Not a snowballs chance in hell.
True health care reform would start by letting me shop for my insurance across state lines. It would then allow me to pick what I want to exempt myself from…pregnancy…dont need that, substance abuse, dont need that, you get the picture.
I could also buy only catastrophic healthcare insurance, I will pay for my own check ups and routine visits to the doc.
We wont fix our problems by spending more money and making more people into criminals
we need to dramatically cut spending and we need to leave the citizens the hell alone to live their lives.
you have good points and I agree with alot of them. You cut spending now, you would be pulling a hoover. When people arent spending the gov has to take up the slack or you have big pain. Bigger than some poor folks are having now.
the government must stop spending so much, they must also drastically cut taxes, one of the larger problems we have is that every dollar is taxed at a rate higher than its worth.
let people keep their money and spend it as they see fit I for one dont see the benefit of taking tax money and funding the center for puppetry arts for example…..puppetry arts should live or die on its own.
Im also a big advocate of the execution of lobbyists (OK maybe thats a bit harsh but you get my drift) we have got to reel government in sooner or later and we are running out of time
Government reforming healthcare is is like letting a dog fly an airplane. You just know it is going to end in disaster.
Health care reform could be real simple. Someone explain to me why the government seemingly always goes with way too expensive and way too complicated plans.
It would be great to reel in government but I think we have gotten way past the point where it can be done.
Mark That is SO true man….
Im seriously considering leaving the country sooner rather than later. there are plenty of places I can live and be way more free for a fraction of the cost.
