Daniel Albert Rojas of Las Cruces is charged with felony counts of aggravated assault against a household member, false imprisonment and battery against a household member.
A Las Cruces, NM man is accused of trying to hold his girlfriend at knifepoint, laboring under the delusion that she had appeared in a porn video.
Police said they arrested Daniel Albert Rojas, 28, early Thursday morning on aggravated assault against a household member, after he pulled out a knife on his girlfriend and threatened her.

The woman told investigators that during the early-morning hours, Rojas entered the bedroom and forcefully began inspecting her body. Rojas claimed he did so because the woman in a pornographic video he was watching had distinctive marks on her body and he thought they resembled the marks on his girlfriend’s body.
The woman told investigators that as she began packing clothes to leave, Rojas armed himself with a pocket knife and threatened her. He’s also suspected of preventing her from leaving the home.
The woman was able to run out of the home and call 911.
Rojas is being held at the Dona Ana County jail without bond.
