Companies that successfully diversify will hang in there as will the ones who put quality before quantity.
There is no question that the business is imploding and has been for a few years, AVN has gotten smaller and smaller to the point that they have now consolidated their magazines into fewer publications. Most companies have cut their production in half at the very least.
But the companies that do survive will see profitability and a reduction in the amount of product should stabilize prices and hopefully bring in new opportunities. but the heyday of the nineties is gone, the internet will see to that, The GVAs and IVDs of this world will either find a new way to survive or die, even porn can’t survive four levels of markup, I’m surprised it lasted as long as it did.
