OK is it just me or does this business whelp out awards shows at a rate that would make “Octomom” seem celibate?
it seems everytime I turn around someone else is having their version of porn awards, usually in an effort to award their their friends and advertisers. I mean all you have to do is look at the names and the sponsors of any particular show and you can guess who the nominees and the winners will be.
We have The AVN Awards, love em or hate em that’s the Big Daddy of the Awards…the porn Oscars.
We have the XRCO Awards where the adult critics (people who cant write, writing about people who cant act, for people who cant read…JK LOL) get to pick their winners.
Outside of those two do we really need all the rest? Are we that attention starved that we must have an awards show a month telling us we are doing something worthy of accolades? Let’s be honest here, most of us aren’t. Outside of a few companies that put quality and production value into their product most porn lacks any originality, artistic merit or anything else award worthy.
So I have an idea here, let’s have better porn and fewer awards shows…..we have enough hand job video without giving ourselves one.

I think porn should have at least one awards show based entirely on fan votes because that’s what really matters.
I’m with Dirty bob here Fan awards are the biggest crock of all of them, for starters online voting is way too easily rigged, for seconds there is no 3rd party oversight and third who exactly qualifies as a “fan” if you have never seen a Kagney Lynn Carter movie you can very well not vote for her because you have seen a Kayden Kross movie for example.
But lets be honest here…this is nothing but a stroke job, plain and simple.
And Im not talkin local shows like Nightmoves those are different they are mostly for locals Im talking the nonsense shows that pop up like mushrooms after a thunderstorm.
But if I ever win a non AVN award you know you’d be proud. I’m saying that as if I’ve won an AVN award. I haven’t.
I have two fireplaces and nothing for the mantles.
Nobody would be more proud than I, but it’s the AVN Award I want for you, and I predict a lot of those awards in your future.
Besides, not sucking up to AVN but theirs IS the one that matters.
You will go far Ms Kross of that I am sure
