There’s this thing on the WWW that really helps in situations like this, Its called google.
A google search of you problem would (which is what I did, presumeably in less time than it took you to write your love letter, ( it was a love letter right?) would have notified you that your problem is related to your Browser (safari)
It would have also told you there are two fix one is dont use safari use firefox (A good choice)
The other is turn off the visual editor in your wordpress profile here. (which I took the liberty of doing for you, in case you are attached to Safari )
