This IS a good idea and it won’t raise prices on anything you buy, matter of fact prices on many items will be lower, read the book and you will know why.

You wont have to calculate the cost of what you buy, the price on the item in the store is what you pay, taxes are not added at the register.

Everyone gets a cost of living rebate at the end of the year, so that basic necessities aren’t taxed

People who don’t pay taxes now because they deal in illegal businesses will start contributing because it’s consuption based.

And remember now more Social Security Taxes and No more Federal Income Taxes…the IRS would be abolished. The flat tax funds the government.

I’d like to correct you on a few important points

First and foremost what we do IS legal, you may not like that fact but it is a fact, until it is found obscene, it IS legal.

Second, I don’t sell to minors, nor does anyone in the internet adult industry we all use the same verification and congress itself has declared that verification to be sufficient. Simply put you MUST have a credit card or a checking account. Now admittedly that isn’t perfect and the credit card companies themselves could help us insure that the card being used isn’t being used fraudulently or it belongs to a minor but they don’t because they make a lot more money by NOT doing so. As I am sure you know most fraud goes unreported.

And third you mentioned spam. Have you looked at your in box lately? I am in the adult biz and 90% of the spam I get is trying to sell me Christian Home Loans, Rolex Watches, Pharmaceuticals or bilk me out of money with a ponzi scheme or a flat out scam like the Nigerian scams.

While we agree on the porn tax, which will never happen anyway could you please stop looking for your dragons in places where they don’t exist? Case in point the much maligned Grand Theft Auto San Andreas. Nobody much cared when all it was about was killing people, killing cops, and stealing cars, motorcycles, airplanes or whatever but as soon as there is a very mild by comparison sex scene that you have to go to a ot of trouble to unlock, suddenly you want it banned? What kind of message are you sending to the kids you keep claiming to want to protect? The one LEGAL act in the entire game is the one you object to? Come on…pull your heads out of your asses and grow up.
