The GirlsDoPorn.com Lawsuit – Update: Legal Troubles Continue

We’ve talked about the site GirlsDoPorn.com and their legal troubles in the past.

But now the lawsuit has been expanded to include more plaintiffs. These 14 girls are seeking a minimum of $7 million dollars ($500,000 per plaintiff) for …

  • Intentional Misrepresentation
  • Fraudulent Concealment
  • False Promise
  • Negligent Misrepresentation
  • Intentional Infliction of Emotional Distress
  • Misappropriation of Name & Likeness [Common Law]
  • Misappropriation of Name & Likeness [Civ. C. §3344]
  • Negligence
  • Breach of Contract
  • Promissory Estoppel
  • Unlawsuit & Fraudulent Business Practices [Bus. & Prof. Code §17200]
  • Fraudulent Transfer

The three main players in the fiasco seem to be Michael J. Pratt, the owner of GirlsDoPorn.com, Andre Garcia, the male talent and Matthew Wolfe, the camera guy.

If you aren’t aware of what is going on, let me give you a quick rundown. The people who own and run the website GirlsDoPorn.com recruit fresh talent, or amateurs from places like Facebook and Craiglist.

According to the complaint, they were promised a certain amount of money and most were not given what they were promised.

Jane Doe #1 was told she would be making $9,200 but they only paid her $8,200.

Jane Doe #2 was offered $6,000 but only actually paid $5,000.

Jane Doe #4 was told she would be paid $2,000 but in the end they only paid her $400. “They gave her a stack of cash with twenty dollar bills on top, but clandestinely filled the middle with one dollar bills.

Jane Doe #6 was told she would make $7,000 but they only ended up paying her $4,500.

In the case of Jane Doe #10, they originally told her they would pay her $7,000 but after the shoot they only ended up paying her $2,000, saying she looked old and deserved less.

With Jane Doe #12 they said they would pay her $5,000 but after filming they only ended up paying her $4,000 saying she had cellulite on her legs.

Jane Doe #13 was promised $5,000 and only ended up getting paid $3,000. They said she had “fat and cellulite on her legs and they didn’t like her breasts.”

Besides the payment issues, each and every time the girls were promised the movies would not be released on the web or in the United States. Sometimes they would tell the girls they were be distributed overseas on DVD while other times the girls were told they would be sold to private buyers.

Obviously that turned out to be a lie.

Next and probably the worst part i that the people from GirlsDoPorn.com, released their real names and other personal information including social security cards and copies of their driver’s license on the pornwikileaks.com website.

The defendants claim this was done with malicious intent and as a result, they should also be awarded punitive damages, which is in addition to the $500,000 per girl they are seeking.

This is now a class action lawsuit.
