I did something today that I have not done in many, many, many years. I actually voted in the Democratic Primary. You see I usually vote Republican barring any Libertarians running. But today myself and many others who normally vote Republican parted from the norm. You see Georgia does not have party registration and the primaries are held on the same day, so anyone can go in and vote in either the democratic primary or the republican primary. So why did I do this? Well, you see, I live in Georgia’s fourth congressional district thus I am represented by the biggest embarrassment to come out of Georgia since J.B Stoner. Yep Cynthia “Jihad” McKinney, since this seat is a guaranteed Democratic seat, thanks to gerrymandering, I decided to do something I NEVER do and that is to cast a vote for someone I do not like because I do not like the opponent even more. Yes I voted against Cynthia McKinney and so did a lot of others, its going to be very close but it appears Cynthia may go down in defeat. In other news Bob Barr, a fellow whom I have met several times and actually like, has almost certainly lost his bid to John Linder, another fellow I have met and like. So today I actually voted for a democratic slate. But come November the Libertarians will get my vote.
