The story is developing but here’s the basics:
Jonathon Koppenhaver was involved in a 3 person altercation yesterday (Friday) AM in Las Vegas that landed two people in the hospital, one of whom was his girlfriend Christy Mack. She is beat up very badly and can barely speak making it difficult for police to question her about what happened.
This isn’t his first run in with trouble for this type of behavior, he was released about a year ago from a one year jail term for an assault back in 2010.
Koppenhaver’s sponsor Bellator issued a statement: “We have a zero tolerance policy here at Bellator when it relates to any form of domestic violence, and after learning of this latest incident involving (Jon Koppenhaver) War Machine, Bellator is releasing him from his promotional contract with the organization.”
Koppenhaver is currently on the run from Las Vegas PD. There is currently a 5,000 dollar cash reward being posted by Mack’s family and friends for any information leading to his whereabouts.
Ladies, pay attention here, this is an ongoing thing with guys like Koppenhaver. When a guy has a long history of abuse why in God’s name would you thihnk that he won’t abuse you as well…Believe me he will. I am not blaming Christy here by any stretch it certainly isn’t her fault, but if you get into a relationship with one of these guys, remember that this is what they do…and you won’t be any different.

Yeah. She could’ve searched the internet, or she could’ve left him after he beat her up last year. This wasn’t the first time he beat her up good. He beat her up last year around this time too. She went off on him on twitter after it happened. A few hours later, she delete all her tweets about it and never brought it up again.
