Public apology shows that adult industry members with integrity can keep it classy
Earlier today, a keen-eyed contributor to this site posted at item about adult starlet Haley Reed publicly accusing Stills By Alan of a casting couch situation. Reed alleged that she was not hired by Alan, then contract director for Gamma Entertainment’s Girlsway line, because she did not have sex with him.
It’s a charge Reed had made previously. But today, the performer recanted her claim and explained what had really happened:
Yes, costing a company thousands of dollars will affect whether or not they hire you. I think this is easy for anyone to understand.
Reed then bravely made a full public apology to Stills By Alan
Alan seemed pleased to accept her apology
Let me second Alan in complimenting Ms. Reed on her courage and good character here. It wasn’t easy.
Haley Reed also asked this site to take down the original post which needlessly assailed Alan
I’m a mere contributor here and lack the power to pull a story.
Stills By Alan has now issued the following brief statement:
It took a lot of courage for Haley to admit she had made a mistake on her timeline. It’s easy to make accusations and start fires, but it shows real integrity to admit you were wrong and then help put out the flames and make things right.~ Stills By Alan
So, what has this episode taught us? Not to jump the gun, for one thing.
In the end, this debacle is a net win for Stills By Alan: it makes it seem that some bloggers are out to get him; it lays a two-year old allegation to rest; and most significantly it casts doubt upon other frivolous allegations, such as those made by performer Lily Adams (who falsely conflated a ‘go-see’ business appointment with a date one year later, presumably to try to pressure Gamma into a cash settlement).
Just another day on porn Twitter. . .

Was she lying about Nat Turnher ripping her off, as well?
This young lady should be removed from the industry no different from someone who actually did what she accused SBA of. She isn’t a superstar. No one will miss her.
Sounds like she walked off the set in a huff and is having trouble getting work.
If she was booked solid for work would she still have made the apology?
I am happy that Haley apologized. However, if I were Alan I would put her on my NO FUCKING WAY list and never work with her again. I am sure Jules Jordan didn’t give a fuck either way but shit like this cost him one job already, let’s not cost any more people their jobs with false accusations.
hey alan, good guys finish last.
