Abigail Peach of Hussie Models has recently been accused of taking the check she was paid for a scene she did for LA New Girl, copying the check, photoshopping a new name on it and then cashing both checks.
However, she was quick to take to Twitter to defend herself, not only denying the accusations but also calling out her agent – Hussie Models.
Whoever wants to believe this without proof can go right ahead. I pride myself on being an honest person and this is fucked up slander. I am a 20 year old who has no idea HOW to commit fraud, and I will be going to the police tomorrow. This is FUCKED up. I’m sick.
Do these people not realize that accusing someone of something of THIS DEGREE without ACTUAL PROOF. I’m literally sick. @HussieModels please do better. And please wait until a situation is resolved before posting on social media and possibly damaging an innocent persons career.
Since both checks, the original and the copy have now been cashed, LA New Girl is no doubt now cooperating with authorities.

Assuming what Dear Abby is accused of is true she is an idiot! Who makes a duplicate of a payroll check and cashes both checks? It is so easy to catch someone when she doesn’t even change the amount of the check! I hope Abby is in cuffs shortly and left in them for a few hours while being booked and released (for a first offender on such a charge in many states this usually results in a PR bond). Maybe some ugly chick will eat out her snatch while she is in the drunk tank, too.

According to Derek Hay (Direct Models), 50% of scenes are same day pay which by its very nature would not be direct deposit. Some of the larger producers do pay talent via payroll as employees and as at most employers that would likely be direct deposit. Some also do pay via mail as an independent contractor or in the case of Derek Hay’s clients have their checks picked up at the production office by the agency accountant. I think I heard somewhere that Mark Schechter (ATMLA) also will accept payment for his clients work if the need arises and pass it on to his clients although I doubt he goes as far as having his accountant pick up checks. Otherwise, independent contractor checks not paid same-day would likely be mailed and not direct deposited.

If it were any other agent than Brian O Malley I’d say this is an open and shut case and the whore took a page from the Alaina Dawson playbook. But with O Malley, his tics, and his agency, I’m not rushing to judgement.
