Denver Riggleman is an accused “devotee of Bigfoot erotica” and, now, a member-elect of the U.S. House of Representatives.
Riggleman, a Republican, won Virginia‘s 5th District. But he had to endure a nasty race in which Democratic challenger Leslie Cockburn attacked him on multiple fronts.
Cockburn, 66, is a journalist, and also happens to be the mother of mainstream Hollywood actress Olivia Wilde.
“My opponent Denver Riggleman, running mate of Corey Stewart, was caught on camera campaigning with a white supremacist,” Cockburn wrote on Twitter in July. “Now he has been exposed as a devotee of Bigfoot erotica. This is not what we need on Capitol Hill.”
That tweet and a subsequent tweet included screenshots of Instagram posts that featured Bigfoot with “censored” bars.
The military veteran and craft distillery owner scoffed at the allegation, saying that the drawing was part of his own book, The Mating Habits of Bigfoot, a collection of gags that he referred to as “a long running prank” between himself and his friends and a parody of an anthropological study.
“It has nothing to do with Bigfoot erotica,” Riggleman told USA TODAY in response in July.
I don’t think this guy was messin’ with Sasquatch, but it seems to me the even if he were into Bigfoot erotica, this humorless female “progressive” Democrat is shaming a harmless sexual fetish for political gain. Shocker.

Personally if I was a resident of Virginia I would of voted for Leslie “Cock” “Burn”. Love the name!
