Deputy Press Secretary For Homeland Security Arrested for Child Porn:

A deputy press secretary with the U.S. Department of Homeland Security was arrested Tuesday night and charged with trying to “seduce” a 14-year-old Polk County girl over the Internet, sheriff’s officials said.

Brian J. Doyle, 55, didn’t know he was communicating with an undercover Polk County sheriff’s detective, officials said.

Doyle was arrested at his Silver Springs, Md., home on 23 Polk County charges. He is accused of using his computer to seduce a child and transmitting harmful materials to a minor.

He was booked into Montgomery County Jail in Maryland and will later
be extradited to Polk County, officials said.

On March 12, Doyle contacted a 14-year-old girl whose profile was posted on the Internet and “initiated a sexually explicit conversation,” according to the Sheriff’s Office.

Doyle described “explicit and perverse” sex acts and gave her his office number, a report said.

Polk County Sheriff Grady Judd said Doyle’s actions were “vile and inexcusable.”
