Good for Lylith Lavey It’s good to see a performer standing up for herself…I hope she gets whatever she wants in the default judgement.
On May 1, Mister Marcus and his lawyer were ordered by a judge to respond to written questions posed by Lylith LaVey’s attorney, Adam Rose, and to turn over specified documents.
Mr Marcus and his lawyer did not comply with the order, according to a sworn statement by Rose.
In a written ruling issued Thursday and finalized today, Judge Amy Hogue said courts typically take less severe action before imposing such a severe measure as opening the door to a possible default judgment. But she said such a step is appropriate in this case.
“It appears (Mister Marcus) has abandoned his defense of this case,” Hogue wrote.
The judge wrote that LaVey believes her career has been hurt by her exposure to syphilis.
“She feels that her reputation in the adult film world has been diminished as a result of filming with (Mister Marcus),” according to Hogue.
