I got an email yesterday from a fellow professing himself to be Jack Horner

Now I am hip that Jack Horner, in addition to the nursery Rhyme character was also the Burt Reynolds Character in “Boogie Nights”. Instead of just running the story without any sort of verification at all, I emailed Mr Horner, and invited him to either call me or email me back. To my surprise he called, he said he watches my site and when I heard him I recognized him as definitely a highly ranked industry insider. Don’t even ask, I won’t reveal his name. Anyway the email suggested that Martin Brimmer was going buy Lukeford.com. The immediate question in my mind was “why”. So unlike Gene Ross who just ran the story I actually got the facts. Seems Horner sent that email to several people to see who would break the story without at least a little fact checking…Gene Ross had it up almost immediately with zero verification. I was the only one who actually attempted to verify the story, Horner says he doesn’t hate Gene and he just wanted throw the story out there and see who would just pick it up as gospel, after all it came from an excite email account…It could have been from anyone. So once again be careful about what you believe from that particular website. Gene once had integrity and credibility, but his shenanigans with the morons where he works have completely destroyed that, I wouldn’t believe him if he told me the sun was going to rise in the morning.
