In 2015 former porn director John Gilbert Bowen who also used the name John T. Bone was sentenced to serve 5 years in a federal prison for distribution of synthetic marijuana “Spice”.
Our sources are now saying he was just released from prison and they were wondering if he was going to try and make a return to porn.
So what really got him nailed in the first place if it wasn’t porn? #FakeDrugs
In Florida, the fake drug “Spice” was sprayed on a green vegetable substance that was then packaged and shipped to wholesalers and retailers. The illegal Spice was sold at corner stores and gas stations in Colorado and that the defendants also shipped it to retail outlets in other states including Wisconsin, Illinois, and Nebraska. Authorities claimed the product can make someone very ill or even kill them. Medical experts also say that “Spice” is much more potent than marijuana and provokes erratic behavior.
In addition to being sent to prison, he was also ordered to pay $1.8 million and forfeit three real estate properties in Florida.
As a porn director, he went by many names including John T. Bone, Willy Wanker, Harry Horndog, and R.T. Longhampton. He was active as a director from 1985 to 2006 during which time he directed almost 400 movies. He was even inducted into the AVN Hall of Fame in 2001.
His two biggest projects were probably his 1995 movie “World’s Biggest Gang Bang” starring Annabel Chong and in 1996 his follow up “World’s Biggest Gang Bang II” in 1996 starring Jasmin St. Claire.
This last arrest wasn’t his first time in trouble. Back in 2007, he and 5 others were arrested in Bangkok for shooting porn. When their set was raided they were in the middle of shooting a group sex scene. Shooting porn in Thailand is illegal.
