A female Army dentist is facing criminal trial, accused of deploying revenge porn against the SAS hero of the Nairobi terror siege — and stalking his heiress girlfriend.
Major Jennifer Wilson, 42, has been charged with disclosing private sexual photos and/or video of Special Forces sergeant Christian Craighead, 47, with the intent to cause distress to the hero who single-handedly fought terrorists in the aforementioned DusitD2 hotel siege.
The Special Air Service (SAS) is famous around the world. Its highly trained men are renowned for their skills in covert surveillance, close-combat fighting and hostage rescue. The SAS was created during the Second World War, when small bands of soldiers were dropped behind enemy lines in North Africa and Europe.
Wilson is also accused of stalking Craighead’s girlfriend, Tobi-Jayne Cadbury, 36, the great-great-great-granddaughter of chocolate baron Richard Cadbury.
Wilson has already been suspended from practicing as a dentist by the General Dentist Council and was arrested a short while later after contacting Cadbury on social media.
She had been released from custody earlier this year with the understanding that she lived at home and didn’t contact Cadbury but is understood to have messaged her via a phony Facebook account . . . thus violating her conditions of bail.
The Daily Mail notes:
Police were called and she appeared before High Wycombe Magistrates on Friday for breaching her bail but the court ruled not to take any further action. She was granted bail again.
A breach in bail conditions by a defendant usually leads to a custodial sentence being reimposed but it is not clear why this didn’t happen.
Craighead, meanwhile, is challenging an MoD gagging order preventing him from writing about the DusitD2 incident.
