Atlanta’s Magic City Offering ‘Virtual Lap Dances’ During #Coronavirus Lockdown

The spread of COVID-19/coronavirus (the Moo Goo Gai Pandemic,) and the social distancing required to combat it, have brought most aspects of public life to a grinding halt. Earlier in the week we reported that Little Darlings Gentlemen’s Club in Las Vegas was attempting to remain open despite the governor’s shutdown order for all non-essential businesses by offering “drive up” strip shows.

A New York Post story has revealed the silver lining that online sex workers such as adult stars Kate Kennedy and Joslyn Jane have found as people seek to escape the new reality of self-isolation via the purchase of cam shows and online content.

Now, iconic Atlanta strip club Magic City is getting creative, BET reports. The physical establishment has had to close for business, but the club is offering virtual strippers to users who pay $20 to be added to their “close friends list.”

Virtual strip services include “interactive stage sets and interactive lap dances,” according to Magic City’s Instagram post.

Instagram will load in the frontend.

As BET’s staff concludes, “A lot of sex workers will suffer from lack of income in the coming months, and it seems Magic City is doing its part to help with cash flow.”
