Black history month started out with a bang. Don Cornelius shot himself on February 1st. Barely a couple of weeks later Whitney Houston passed, setting up the first ever Black History Month Trifecta Dead Pool. Bets were being made with Don King and Al Sharpton high on peoples lists.
Today Davy Jones (The former Monkee) died at age 66 of a heart attack ending the possibility of the Trifecta on the last possible day.
If you had Don Cornelius, Whitney Houston and Davy Jones in your dead pool you would have hit the jackpot. Nobody did so the next dead pool jackpot goes up to 60 Million.
