Despite drug overdoses and federal marshalls at my hotel and all that there was lots of good stuff that happened there. The best was seeing old friends and meeting new ones.
A couple of new ones actually stand out…Regan Anthony and D.J Batman are straight up good people, I am proud to have them as friends, I spent lots of time with them last week and they proved themselves as honest, decent and sane. I love you guys!
I also enjoyed making better aquaintance with Mary Carey, say what you will about Mary but she was an absolute doll to me.
It was nice to meet all my readers that were there too. It’s kinda funny, I been in this biz for over ten years, I have a mantle full of awards, including 2 AVN Awards. I have many nominations, I have accomplished many things, but the one thing I always hear is “I read your site every day” Thats how y’all know me and ya know what? I am proud of that. because this site is an extension of me, its part diary, part opinion, part a lot of other stuff but when ya get right down to it, it’s all me. It ain’t pretend.
I’m not a journalist, hell I can barely construct a coherent sentence. I’m not a writer, my site is both fact and fiction, opinion and editorial, diary and fantasy.
Sometimes I’m wrong, sometimes I’m right and as I used to tell the hockey players I coached….It’s OK to fuck up because if you don’t fall on your ass once in a while you aren’t learnng anything new and if you aren’t learning anything new you aren’t getting better.
I hope I’m getting better.
