LOS ANGELES — Shy Love, owner of Adult Talent Managers, is asking all adult performers, producers and agents to attend a follow-up meeting on Thursday, July 19, to discuss the issue of performer testing.
The meeting is set for 7 p.m. at Hustler’s studio in Chatsworth.
“This is an open forum and an open meeting so that when talent comes into this business and is looking at everything, they should be making their own decisions,” Love told XBIZ Monday. “The purpose of this meeting is to educate talent about what’s going on and let them make their own decisions about what they want.”
Love said she is also inviting representatives from the adult industry’s major STI testing labs, as well as the news media, to be at the gathering. She said she was in the process of contacting Talent Testing Service, Cutting Edge Testing and Advanced Medical Testing Center to request their attendance.
“We will have every lab there, so they all can speak regarding what their services are,” she said.
Love said that Free Speech Coalition and Adult Performer Health & Safety Services have also been asked to attend.
“I’m not against FSC,” Love said. “We just don’t want this to be a he-said, she-said.”
The former performer and veteran agent said that she set the meeting for July 19 to give everyone ample time to prepare and make arrangements to be there.

I think good Shy Love got event on. Now who show up what is said at this event gone be very interesting for porn inudsrty. How this not gone be pointing fingers event who did what who did do any thing well remains be seen at event. What questions well get answers from those attending the event what questions well not get clear answer to or answer at all. Sound like event that been need in porn indusrty for long time in Las Angles. Congrates to Shy Love for putting on event nobody in porn had vision do so but her.
Maybe I’m a bit cynical by nature, but I have to wonder what the ulterior motive may be.
The problem is most porn isnt shot in LA anymore. They arent the center of the porn universe as they like to think.
