Is AVN on the Ropes? AVN Canceling Employee 401K Program

Here’s a New Year’s update on AVN for you. This is *anonymous*, please. . . I’m sure you will be getting a few more reports on this soon enough to confirm.

Letters are going out from AVN stating that AVN is canceling their 401k program through John Hancock for employees. Employees have 30 days to respond with whether they wish to roll over their accounts to new carriers they choose themselves, or cash out.

Take it as you will. Maybe the cost of maintaining the program isn’t worth it for what the returns to employees are? Maybe Darren and Paul never heard the adage “beware Greeks bearing gifts?”
