With VPNhub, porn goliath Pornhub offers to protect users from snooping and censorship across the globe
Using Public wifi puts you and your content at risk. Pornhub wants to help keep your personal information safe from prying eyes. The new Virtual Private Network tunnel service, which launches today, offers “free and unlimited bandwidth” on iOS, Android, Windows and Mac OS (although the last two are premium-only).
“With 90 million visitors a day, the vast majority of whom are using devices on the go,” said Pornhub VP Corey Price, “it’s especially important that we continue to ensure the privacy of our users.”
The company says its new VPN has 1,000 servers in more than 15 countries, and that it will not log user data or browsing activity itself. It is, however, ad-supported, so users must pay for VPNhub Premium to remove the ads, or to use the desktop versions of the platform.
VPNhub is available globally, with the exception of countries that the US bans its companies from dealing with. That list includes Burma, Cuba, Iran, North Korea, Sudan and Syria.
