I agree that full criminalization is asinine. I support what I would have to call legalization lite because I strongly insist on a mandatory adult film industry panel VD test plus an additional ELISA/Western Blot test along with the PCR-RNA dated within the past 14 days for both john and prostitute. If you test positive for VD, you don’t get to fuck any prostitutes — period. An exception could be made for serosorting where HIV positive people only get to fuck other HIV positive people (and negatives only other negatives) in the sex trade. If you can afford $1500 to fuck a hooker, you can afford $200 for a recent VD panel. If a prostitute wants to work, she can pay for her test — this is non-negotiable to me.
