It never ceases to amaze me just how broke some porn chicks are.
Now don’t get me wrong, there are some porn girls who are sitting on top of a mountain of cash and when I mean mountain, I’m talking in the millions. They just don’t talk about it. They are smart enough to keep their mouth shut about how much money they really have because they don’t want others hitting them up for money.
But as far as the others, you know the girls I mean, the ones always on twittering bitching about money and how they can’t pay this or that — are they always broke because they aren’t making the money or is there something else to blame?
Let’s do the math and find out.
If a porn chick does 12 boy/girl scenes this month at a rate of $800 each that means she brought in $9,600. She has to pay 10% of that to her agent. This means a girl only has to work 3 days a week. Now I realize some girls work way more and some way less, but we have to try and figure out some average type of number and after speaking with a few girls, this seems to be common — working two or three days a week.
12 scenes * 800 = $9,600.
$9600 – $960 = $8,640.
She will typically spend about 5% of her scene on travel expenses to and from the set. Now I realize not all porn chicks take Uber, some have cars but more often than not, they take Uber so we will include $480 in travel expenses.
$8,640 – $480 = $8,160.
An establish porn chick is going to have to have a publicist and that will run her at least $500 a month.
$8,160 – $500 = $7,660.
Now there is rent. A typical model house charges $250 per week which is $1,000 per month.
$7,660 – $1,000 = $6,660.
Now let’s factor in a few more things that a girl will need to live each month.
- Taxes – $960 (10% of what she earned)
- Food – $600
- Personal Care Items – $200
- Emergency Savings – $500
- Going out – $500
- New Clothes – $1,000
- Nails & Hair – $300
- Kinky Fuckary – $100
Even still that leaves her with $2,500 a month.
Of which she’ll need to spend $310 on testing ($155 each two weeks).
$2,500 – $310 = $2,190.
That’s $2,190 left over to spend on credit card payments, weed, alcohol, new shoes – whatever. I mean I would hope that she would spend some of that on health care, saving few a new car and other responsible things … but my point is, where the fuck does all their money go?
And that’s just money she made from shooting. That doesn’t even factor in the money a smart performer will make from doing things like doing private skype shows, custom videos, running her premium SnapChat or only fans page. And some girls will also make six figures a year on the feature dance circuit.
Sure it may be true that porn stars don’t make residuals from their movies, but there still isn’t any reason why a performer should be flat broke month after month after month.
If it’s that you aren’t getting enough work, you need to consider moving to a new agency or work harder on other aspects like webcamming more.
If you can’t book any scenes at all, then maybe porn just isn’t for you.
Not trying to be a dick here, just saying – porn isn’t for everyone.

That does not include the girls working fans for all they can with ONLYFANS.com, Amazon Wish lists, and other sources of income like escorting, feature dancing, etc…
Some stars (like Julia Ann) you never hear any drama about them. Those are the smart ones that do their shoots and avoid the stuff that kills other girls careers (like drugs).
