Unfortunately I get you loud and clear, Kelli. It seems like the agency would eat the cost themselves as the videos would be extra promotion and likely extra bookings/agency fees from producers but nowadays – even though that extra $100-(maybe) $200 would probably result in $1500 or more in additional agency fees (and $15,000 or more in extra earnings by performers) in most cases. I know Mike isn’t running this site anymore but there has been enough news and investigative reporting since the ownership change that I think a large portion of the producer and director viewership of this site is still there to justify the extra expense of agents to have at least some of their new performer videos posted here (and the agency could open a YouTube account and post at least parts of them there as well, the tits and ass could be fuzzed out via a video editing program to allow the videos to meet YouTube standards — possibly getting their talent more fans in the process, more fans equals more bookings).

Most agencies don’t work like LA Direct does so it wouldn’t be as easy to get videos like this from them. With LA Direct, they take their own agency photos. It’s all done in-house. But with other agencies, they send the girl to their preferred photographer and then charge them a set fee for them.

So with LA Direct, I can just say, hey can you run a few minutes of video footage for me? And it’s easy enough to do since it’s all their people but with other agencies, the photographers get all pissy and want more money. $100+ I’ve been quoted.

There is no incentive for the photographer with other people to promote the girl, since they are just hired to do a job, take photos. They don’t care about helping the girl get exposure. Know what I mean?

I go to an agency and say something like – hey I like your performers. I want to help them get more exposure. Their response has always been, oh well it will be $100 per video per girl. LOL
I’m like ummm you want ME to pay YOU, to promote YOUR girls?
Yeah good luck with that. LOL

Cute girl. I don’t know how the Star of David tattoo on her stomach is going to go over with directors, performers (Casey Calvert and Abella Danger are both Jewish, my instinct tells me Casey would probably overlook the tat but I couldn’t even make an educated guess about Abella) and paying viewers but otherwise I think she has potential. For the most part she seemed to “get” her photographer’s instructions without a long, drawn out explanation and the photographer was able to shoot her pictures quickly (and boy does he work quickly).

Kelli, I wonder if you could get videos like these from a couple of the other reasonably reputable talent agencies? At least when Mike was running this site many adult film industry insiders regularly read this site. If that is still the case these videos could be great exposure to new performers, benefiting both they and their agencies.
