If Karlee even has a potential baby daddy that didn’t only fuck her on a set. The morning after pill is quite effective. However, it isn’t effective as the pill taken properly, an IUD or a tubal ligation. If Karlee has to apply for Medicaid to pay for her pregnancy medical bills she will be required to give the names of every sexual partner within 90 days (45 in each direction) of her estimated conception date and they will be court ordered to submit their DNA sample at the local Department of Social Services of county health department office. The state will also attempt to get reimbursed by the producer where the conception took place’s workman’s comp insurer (if in California likely State Compensation Insurance Fund). If somehow Karlee doesn’t need Medicaid even though she will be out of work for about six months before her baby’s birth (I don’t see that happening unless a studio hires her for a behind the scenes job) and never needs state assistance afterward this might not be an issue. I don’t know of very many people making less than $100K per annum with that kind of money saved up, Obamacare premiums, insurance co-pays and living expenses in Los Angeles for six months comes to about $40K (the co-pays would be roughly $7500 on a Silver Obamacare plan, living expenses for six months would be about $20K at the bare minimum plus whatever her insurance premium would be for six months — she wouldn’t be asset eligible for Obamacare Medicaid until her liquid assets dropped below about $2K).
